Zoya buy 2get2 flash sale purchase..

Overly excited over my purchase!! Zoya has been having flash sales daily recently I've been fortunate to catch two. This is my first flash sale purchase and omblob I am so happy I bought these. Daul is a purple with gold metallic very fine glitter but needs four coats to not look so sheer. Evvie is a creme near camouflage like green oh its pretty. Natty is a creme dark near navy but not quite blue I'm in love! Rehka is a creme dark red (perfect for fall/winter) forget other reds this one is almost goth-like (I love) its pure sophistication. As you can tell I am very happy with my purchase I will be buying up dream boxes as gifts too!! Btw all other colors besides Daul covered well in two coats.

December IPSY bag

This second bag has me squealing!! The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on eye pencil in Zero would've been enough but I'm grateful for everything else that came too. NYX Pearl pigment in 06 black pearl, usually $3.99 for 5ml (size I rcvd). Be a Bombshell gloss in Hot Mess (tube is longer and thicker than lipglass tube) unsure of the price. I've been on the market for a primer so I'm soooo happy to see this Mirabella face and eye primer, gees so much product but hey I am not complaining. The last thing in my cute gray bag is Mai Couture's Highlighting Papier, yes you heard right, it looks similar to blotting sheets but it applies a glow to where you apply it. I cant wait to show you what look I will create with these items! My Glam/IPSY I am going truly happy with your service!

Fan Appreciation...

A separate giveaway is in order!! Nearly 300 fans on FB and 200 on my big!?! Eek I squeal with joy. I couldn't find any Lippmann polishes so I am doing a giveaway on other brands I love also. A reveal pic I posted was of OPI's Pirouette My Whistle.... I love this polish. So much that all the women in my family currently own a bottle too! Stick around and let's paint the town in glitter! Giveaway will be launched Saturday eastern time. Good luck everyone & thanks!

Why I'm no longer a Maven...

Julep is a big company that produce 8 ml bottle polishes that can be delivered to you for a membership price. I of course a fellow polish lover was like "Cool! SOLD!!". Well after a few months of being a "Maven" I was sadly disappointed. The cost of these polishes per bottle for the quantity firstly was bothersome, $11.20-$15 for a bottle a little more than half of a standard bottle I would buy, usually 15 ml. I own about a dozen Julep polishes, 8 bottles still have the plastic wrap intact. Yeah yeah the other stuff they threw in was cool (foot file, filer, cool mask, lip balm, hand cream, and even a sunblock) along with some candies, pretty tissue papers, and packing confetti. But still $19.99 is steep for 2-3 bottles of 8 ml polishes. What really got me was the dupes people found! The dupes are polishes you can buy from the local drugstores too. I've seen dupes of Juleps from Sinful Color, Pure Ice, and even Wet n' Wild. The brands I've named are priced between $.99-$1.99, how's that fair to pay nearly 10x the price for a 8 ml bottle or be a "Maven" and they send you a "styled" box? I am fully aware of China Glaze, Orly, and OPI having dupes also BUT I've NEVER paid double digits for a bottle from any of those brands. Also the Oprah's favorites white box of 12 julep polishes on their site goes for $105 but is being sold on QVC for $84 SAME brand/product! Canceling was weird. I called a toll free # got an automated prompt system, selected my request, LEFT a message with my email, waited 48 hours to get an email to advise they got my request. Why couldn't I speak to a live person? Oh well it's all said and done right? I will share with you the links of the dupes. This is my experience I can't speak for others, I also won't "knock" you for supporting or loving Julep I'm just saying I can live without these polishes. http://misshollyberries.wordpress.com/2012/10/15/the-look-for-less-dupe-alert-2/ http://apolishedaddiction.blogspot.com/2012/03/julep-nails.html http://www.jilltasticnaildesign.com/search/label/Julep http://dennysdigits.blogspot.com/2012/04/new-polish-dupe-alert.html This policy is valid from 21 June 2011 This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me.
