This was an easy decision to buy! I met the gorgeous Katie of The Painted Nail on Sunday at Premiere Orlando 2013. She was so sweet and adorable. Katie actually was working the booth along with three others but Katie was definitely hands on and down to earth. I was star-strucked...so bad I didn't have the guts to ask for a picture with her. Well while visiting her booth I watched two demos at once. One was nail graphfix over the color flash set and also the quick color flash system. I wanted the pod but instead bought the bigger system and no regrets. All you do is clean prep (dry mani), pick a color apply, cure one coat under the cute light, once the light goes off, it is set/dry. Either its opaque enough if not apply another coat and cure then they are done for sure. No primer no top it's so simple! After purchasing the system I tried our at my hotel room...my husband was shock at how fast my manicure was and he loves that there is no strong smell like regular polish. I won't lie the removing sucks. You buff the shine off apply the remove cream from the tube give it two mins don't let it dry then push it off with the cuticle pusher. It sounds simple yes but I actually had trouble and hate the remover cream but I think I'm still a noob so let's see if we find other
ways to remove. I'm showing pics of the product that I purchased and pedicure that just happened.

Maybelline Color Show Denim Dash (my 1st)
CVS was having a fabulous sale and I so happen to accidentally stumble upon this awesome event. I nabbed my first Color Show polish for 50% off plus I had a manufacturer coupon for $1.00 off, I paid less than a dollar for this! Color Show is adorable. I love the cute little bottle and variety of fun colors Maybelline has been releasing. Honestly though I want all of these colors BUT at a good deal. The polishes are only 7ml, usually for this retail price ($2.95-$3.95ea), I normally pay close to this price but for 14-15ml double the size of these bottles. This blue is vibrant with a mix of very fine silver shimmer throughout. This polish should be applied quickly, it can lay uneven, I did two coats to be safe. The pictures are taken at night I will add a daylight image tomorrow. This dries a satin-matte, I'm in love. I'm a year late, lol so what, but I finally got it!! A must have indeed I haven't seen a polish similar or like this from other brands yet. Happy buy definitely.

CND Vinylux Summer Brights-swatched
CND had had my heart with other products they've created. I'm giving their new line VinyLux a try. The stand at Premiere was bombarded the entire weekend! I got the mini set but this collection has a total of 62 colors. This line claims the color will last a week it self adheres to natural nails & durability phrased with exposure to natural light. I swatched (index to pinky) pink bikini, lobster roll, water park, & grape gum. I did attend a CND workshop & other techs also played with the new VinyLUX everyone said this... It's not a quick dry formula, beautiful but there's a little wait on dry time. The formula though is fabulous. No streaking our chunking, even lay, good coverage of color max you need is two coats for an opaque coverage. The smell...there is no strong smell! I love this line so far and I wish I grabbed more full sizes! These are retailing for as low as $5.95 a bottle (0.5Oz) (beyondpolish.com).

Links of where I got what from where will be available, I have no secrets. I wish to build something from Toki Doki or the Unicorno series one day, but baby steps to awesome eh? :)

Your momma's polish-remover-in-a-tub revamped!
You may have seen these jars of removers growing up and even hated them. Well I have now grown to love these! For personal use and convenience these tubs have become "life savers". I no longer have to mess with cotton balls or damage miscellaneous surfaces because of where I place my acetone drenched cotton balls. I got this remover tub from CVS for under $4. The inner is now filled with plastic/rubber for finger insertion instead of the sponge thingy like back in the 80s (when I first saw one). This does dry my hands/fingers but it gets the job done quick and easy. I change my polish daily so this really helps me out. I didn't see other selections on remover liquids (acetone free and so on) so I bought the 100% acetone one. It claims to remove glitter with ease....we shall see. I will be keeping this tub for a while (till it gets gross) you can dump out the old liquid and fill it with new remover. Which I will do! :) yay for more polish changes with ease!! This is especially good for swatching days.
