Suave dry shampoo

Suave came out with several dry shampoos  I've tried two so far. The first one I tried was the Suave Pro Keratin Infusion dry shampoo. To me it did what a dry shampoo is suppose to refresh my hair, take away the oily feel, great volume, clean scalp feel. Keratin infused one has a aerosol like smell (expected) but yet tropical. The Suave Pro dry shampoo (green cap no other specifics) to me does not give me as much volume as I want (no not like Snooki). It does remove the oily feel but thats it. Also the smell reminds me of an artificial green apple smell. I got the Keratin infused one at Walmart for $3.47, regular one was from Target for $2.47. I would buy the Keratin infused one again. I will keep trying more dry shampoos and let u know my honest opinion. Dyed redheads use dry shampoo quite a few times a week. Down fall is I feel like I only got 4 uses out of the first canister so we'll see cause im making note on the 2nd canister on how many uses I will get.

Marbling with multiple colors

I will be using some Wet n' Wild Fast Dry polishes that I bought in a summer pail a few months ago for $9.99 from CVS. A lot came in the bucket plus one white nail art bottle and some stencils. Sinful Colors had a $0.99 each sale at Walgreens, I bought a bunch in September 2011, I'll be using three of those. Caught a NYX sale at the Beauty Outlet in Ellenton it was 10 NYX items for $5!! Using Karnak as a base its a slight shimmery nude. Lastly I have two random polishes I got from the nail supply store in Tampa.

Water Marbling

So many drops to start/create a design/look that I sometimes cringe. I do water marble looks only with my least expensive polishes but always finish with a good top coat. I feel horrible exposing my little secret but I cant tolerate fishing out excess polish and not feeling like I wasted some. :/ anyone know of a less wasting way to marble? I love the unique looks I get marbling but I am not "ok" with doing that with OPI, Essie, and etc. Marbling now will post in a bit.

Dashing Diva DesignFX

Four day wear.. So far still good as a trial run. Ring finger has no clear and lost 2 stones/dots after getting finger caught in my hair a few times. The Pinky has clear and still lays nice. I do dishes at home, type a lot, and am very clumsy. I would purchase these again, fab product Dashing Diva!

RIP iPhone..

One drop dead! I was sooo upset. Ugh now what do I do with this? Its all white screened when on. Dang it Apple you need to work on drop testing for ur devices. Not spending $$$ on iPhone 4s so back to Android. :/

Fueling up for a tutorial and a new nail look

Old school I know. Chef Boyardee easy and fills me up! A childhood go to that will remain in my life.

Ardell lashes deal..

Buy 2 get 1 free at Sally's!! Its Ardell lashes all types. I just bought some elf ones that I wanted to try because they come with a vial of gel adhesive. But this deal on Ardell will be a good addition to my back up stash.

Sparitual??

I want this brand of polish sooo badly but am not sure where to find them for a good price!! Do u have any ideas?? Also do you love or hate them? I've heard mixed reviews. Also right now on Facebook they are giving some proceeds to oursoil.org :) I love a good cause!! So neat and the duo set that some of the proceeds go to the organization is pretty cute, earth-tones but glittery :)!! So are you a Sparitual buyer or not? Should I even spends some $$ on this or is there another brand you prefer to give your $$ to? If so pls share :)

Kokoa Hut chocofix

Have u tried Kokoa Hut yummies? If not u need to!! Its my second year in a row of having treats from this fab chocolatier from Thailand to the US. My favorite (also my son's fav) is the Suncho. Its a sunflower seed dippes in a rich chocolate then sprayed with a shell-like shiny coat. My son inhaled the entire tube of Suncho so I am going to try the Greeny Pumpkin Choco. Its a chocolate coated pumpkin kernel but with green tea flavoring. I will let u know how it tastes in a while.

Bloom... have you?

Have you explored Bloom.com?? I am soooo tempted everytime I go on there. I want the Sara Happ green apple lip scrub so bad, also the Befine rough spot lemon balm...eeeek. Ugh, I might go against myself and go purchase a few items now ahhhh. OMG OPI NYC Ballet mini pack is only $12.50! DEAL!! Pharmacopia has a herbal lip balm for the inner hippie in all of us!! Hehe but all playing aside people have said this is the best overnight treatment and inexpensive too! I will blog and take a pic of my shopping cart after I "window" shop then settle on some deals. :) -Happy shopping ya'll!

Target beauty deals

Before I started my busy day we made a quick stop to Target. For just under $8 I got me some lashes, elf studio make up remover cloths (comparable to MAC!), & a dyed red head's best friend some dry shampoo!! Awesome. I did well with a total under $20 for these deals, shower necessities, & some replenishes for my pantry.

Dashing Diva DesignFX

I bought a pack of Dont Touch My Sparkle. It was $8-9 a pack will cover 36-42 nails. Its pretty easy to use but it reminds me of fancier sticker art. I thought it would be like polish strips with 3d effects. I like it but not love it. Have to admit though the prints they offer are fabulous! I would once in a while buy 1-3 packs to have for clients who wants them. I will finish the look, after cleaning around, with OPI Rapidry top coat.

Cuticle trimming..

I'm using a buffing cream cause someone misplaced my nail nourishing rubbermaid box of stuff.. its neat after I push, trim, wash I then wipe with a cloth. My nails looks well kept, truthfully ive not trim my cuticle since Oct 2011!! I bought this buffing cream for $1 @ my local Salon Centric. They seem to always have sucb great deals!! Well heres some pics..

Etsy... land of cute to be discovered!!

Well I've been lusting over some leather keychains .. http://www.etsy.com/shop/leatherprince?section_id=5419626 ... to be exact, OMG ridiculously cute. I already favorited like 60+ items lol.. can't help it. If you are looking for a unique gift to give to people you care about I say check Etsy, support small businesses!! Pls share some links to items you find that I may not have discovered yet because I love new finds!! :)

Glitter mani or no??

Today I ended up being the babysitter for my baby nephew Joseph... was debating on doing his nails but I don't think his mom would find it cute. But then again I was asked to babysit him... so hmmmm. I am doing nails on a client later and I wanted to lay some colors on myself to show her how the Dashing Diva Design FX would look and also use my matte top coat :). (sigh) This toddler is so active  I am afraid to open up my train case and chance losing a color (he has a thing that he loves to throw stuff away). Argh. Well Jake & the Neverland Pirates are on so lets see if that can distract this little linebacker till my nails are dry....(says a small prayer)..

Dupe for OPI's "It's a Girl"

I love love love finding dupes. It's a breather for my $-flow. Let's be honest sometimes it's gut wrenching when u see how low you are on your bigger brand items... but the price can be a bummer when you realize you realize the majority of that color was used on minor details of a piece. Well I've made it my personal business to share dupes I find to all you polish connoisseurs like myself (yes I labeled us & I love it). Well OPI's it's a girl is an uber cute opaque pink that I just adore. I am down to a baby size bottle till I can track down a local lacquer dealer here for one sold at a decent price. I went to CVS a few weeks ago and picked up some Spoiled by Wet n' Wild, totally slipped my mind till I got home that I was down to the baby-mini size bottle of OPI's it's a girl!! Upset and pretty down about it I was like ugh I will just do my nails to cheer me up. Well I wanted to try out the Spoiled line so I started to paint my nails using My Button Fell Off ..... hmmm after the first two nails painted I was like hey you are looking very familiar well... ahhhha you are my new BFF... ahhh it's a DUPE perfect match!! SCORE! Well lets get to the pic I am such a rambler..lol... try this out and let me know what you think but for a bottle dupe of an OPI at $1.99 each I say it's a steal!!

Also as always the Rimmel lippy by Kate is ridiculously yummy smelling!!

Gingering it STILL :)

Red Hair what what!! :) I've actually been rocking this color for a bit now I hope to keep rocking it through the summer :) I few girls caught on this red fever also I am dreading the sporadic growth of red heads now (sigh) to be different not so much eh. :p
I used L'Oreal Majirouge 0.06 and I LOVE IT. It's actually faded a bit and the filter for the pics make it more orange than I like but it's not orange at all.  :)

Spoiled by Wet n Wild pros & cons

Spoiled by Wet & Wild polishes pros & cons. For the price these fun colored polishes are a steal at $1.99 each. I got Tip Your Waitress it's a neon pink <3 it, Did I Dye It Too Blonde it's a neon yellow just fab, and My Button Fell Off it's an opaque french manicure pink-ish feeling this for the nude touchings. These colors dry fast, coverage is good 1st coat, leaves a matte-like finish. Not the average cheap polishes I'd say. There is a downfall... the brush is uneven and FAT!! They tried to copy the brushes from the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure line, FAIL!! Today is the 1st day wearing these colors by this new line Spoiles so we'll see how long they survive the mel-factor. But for the fun colors and just to have many colors to pick from to keep my fingernails from being "boring" I would repurchase these :).

I find pretty cool deals for so cheap, one time I got a pair of The Limited jeans for $0.74 cents.... NOT a typo. So we will see what deals I can fathom and my sidekick will record this because I need to upload videos my Youtube has been abused w/ lack of use :(. Rimmel Kate lipstick

So everyone knows Kate was the spokesperson for Rimmel right?? If u didn't now you know :). Well a little late but better than never Kate and Rimmel came out w/ some lippies in great bold colors!! Well I've been searching for red lippies for a while because I've decided I'm going to do some pin-up photos (more on that later). Well the Kate shade I got was 01 it's an awesome red...not raunchy bright even though I wouldn't mind that. But yeah I am going to do a look w/ this and supposably it's an 8hr wear so we'll see about that. BTW CVS has these lippies for $4.99...GO grab a few!!!

Red Hair dont care? WRONG

So anyone/everyone who has seen me knows I am rocking that Rhi-Rhi red or dang close to it. Well let me tell you red hair is a b*tch to to maintain. AHHH the up keep is ridic!! I've had to come to terms with washing my hair less than I usually do. I have to wash my hair 2-3 times a week only :/ & when I do wash I only "rinse" my hair w/ conditioner. Dry shampoo will be your BEST FRIEND. I have to touch up every 3 weeks. But I felt so guilty this month that I've held off for 5 weeks!! I just bleached my roots today w/ some random highlights so when I lay on the Majirouge Lumax 6.60 w/ Red mixer the color will blend better and no 4inch brighter than the 12-14 inch falling below my head. I've used ION color treated shampoo & condtioner after just a week I knew I can't use shampoo anymore. Also when I rinse I have to rinse the conditioner out w/ cold water only to preserve the color. (sigh) and the conditioner has to be for color treated hair. I also started doing hair repair/masque w/ this thing called Macadamia Nut Hair Masque. I do that once every week and a half. it keeps my hair decent. Well now how is that for the maintenance on my mane? I am going to get Hair One Hair cleanser/conditioner w/ olive oil it's $10 for a bottle I've heard it works wonders for this particular hair color. Well I will post pics sometime this weekend on this color it's my first time touching up w/ this brand. *finger crossed*

Big Lots is no joke

So we were out of bottled water so I offered to go buy a pack.... hehehe. I haven't been to my local Big Lots in a while so I was like hmm I will go there and wander the aisles. Well I am so glad that I did. Now one way or another in a lifetime you will hear about a place called Ulta. I let it be known now....am not a FAN of Ulta. Why? Because I'm a Sephora wh*re....no I kid...somewhat. Lol (sigh) the inner jerk made it's way out people gees chill out. Anyways I believe if I can find the brand or item at my local CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, or even Big Lots then I shouldn't be paying the same price for the item at Ulta. The Ulta here is far from me it's in another city/county. Friends of mine's took me there thinking I'd be hooked because I am such a make up lover....wrong wrong wrong. I do love make up but at a decent price. I am such a coupon diva if you went shopping with me you might blush at the scenes that unfold. Well back to my original rant. Big Lots was like striking black gold aka oil for me today. I got the 24pk water I was seeking but I also found after much rummaging through a few dirty due to busted make up containers holding loose make up products some Revlon Matte lipsticks!!! I just checked Ulta (boooooo) and the colors I bought today are available on Ulta's site too but for $6.99 a tube... I had a wtf are u fffing kidding me moment. Well guess what? I got 2 tubes for $4 yes $2 each tube. Let me tell u these colors are fabulous. I got 001 Nude Attitude & 005 Strawberry Suede!! Love these names, I'm such a sucker for witty named products (btw OPI delivers that every time go read the names of their polishes). I'm ecstatic I got these matte colors for such a bargain...eeeek. Well I bugged the guy who has been in my life for a while but rankings fall short because he was demoted from being ______ now to guy in my life due to not completing tasks I ask of. But as soon as he unpacks my junk I will take pics of looks I do and upload more videos to Youtube :). Also I bought a pack of Epielle Green Tea Cleansing Tissues but am afraid to use them got these suckers for $1 a pack of 30 tissues. Well since I do have a new cleanser I might take my chances so YOU know if u can trust this or not. Happy deals ck out ur local bargain stores and share sales if you know of some!

Dreaded trip to Walgreens #3951

Dramatic much? Why yes I am. So 8:30pm I decided to make a run to my local Walgreens.... wish I didn't have to but I did. I'm a CVS girl is what it seems but this Walgreens is literally a block away so I was like eh save gas why not. NOTE for next time I'd rather waste the gas to a Walmart or CVS even if they're 10-15 mins away. Ok about Walgreens (#3951) this particular one really hires ANYONE. This night cashier there, ugh, he is the definition of the cashier from a bad place.... one he is sitting on a stool or in a chair the handful of times I have to go there, two he has NO customer service skill. He will ring stuff up and if u ask about the signage he tells u "the item was placed in the wrong spot." or "it's for a particular flavor/color only." I am always baffled seeing him and dreading to be in the line for his register the only register open besides beauty. Well I went to this store this time cause I needed some female ish... besides that though the signs of FINAL SALE or Buy one get one free or marked down tags all had me pondering over other items. I stumbled upon a new face foam by AcneFree the sensitive cleanser was on sale for $4.29 it was $8.49, SCORE! Then I kept browsing the shelves I come upon the natural products, LOVE 'em, I browse through J/A/S/O/N no sale, Burt's Bees no sale then I see Say Yes to Carrots Lip Butters had a mark down but only for the Carrot flavored one $1.59. I tried to find the sale flavor it was gone so I was like eh why not try it so I grabbed two I got Pomergranate and Mint each stick of lip butter was $3.29 each. I left this Walgreens after Mr Grumpy-seat's line spending a little less than $20. Well I get home in a minute.  First things first I tried the lip butter :) eeeeeeek I love it. I have been dying to try lip creams and lip butters ever since StylSuzi on Youtube mentioned lip puffs she had tried from Boots!! Well this lip butter is not tacky, sticky, or oily. It's creamy almost really like butter!! The pomergranate is white I think the flavor was for smell name sake. I did have a patch of dry skin on my lip but this lip butter took care of that. I can say right now after owning this for 2 hours literally I say go get some!! The cleanser I will use after I am done w/ my Garnier cleanser, I have another 3 days 6 washes use I'd guess. I had to blog this cause ughhh I was happy w/ my finds but sooooo not happy w/ the cashier I dread seeing him when I walk in there... Walgreens is the last resort for me because of this name-hiding-chair-sitting-in-attitude-rich cashier.

Posting pics later on what designs I came up w/ mostly Katy Perry inspired but awesome designs none the less. :)

Baby Lips Cherry Me has me for sure!! Wish I would've gotten another one. So I've noticed not all CVS(s) advertise sales the same. I am a bit disappointed w/ store 2873. I see the 50-75% off ad tags around but NO stickered items to advise what was on sale. NOT one. I left there w/ out a new cosmetic item which I am a bit peeved over. The other CVS near advertise and actually have more in stock of what is on sale. I can actually tell what is on sale because I SEE the dang stickers on the items. (sigh) enough of me whining over one dang CVS lol. I am going to try Vaseline's lip therapy...the package is a mini container that looks like the big jars of Vaseline. I am such a sucker for packaging! I've been debating on ordering make-up to try from China, Korea. and even Japan. Ebay has me fighting myself right now. UGH. Well I will see what looks neat and post pics shortly.. :) ttyl <3

Been slacking but I AM BACK

Long time no update I know :/ ehhh life has been well blah... had to sort some stuff out set my priorities straight now I am officially back. So I was looking through my bag and found some Maybelline coupons and remembered CVS sent me a 20% off coupon. So I sent the coupon from my email to my card and set off for the nearest CVS. After singing w/ Adele (Set Fire to The Rain) and Rhi-rhi I made it to my local CVS, an 8 mins drive. Well I walk in and find the coupon scanning kiosk and now armed w/ more coupons I circle the 3 aisles of make up and finally decided on my purchase. Revlon, Rimmel, Physician's, and L'Oreal made my choices hard but I stuck to my coupons. I left with Maybelline's Dream Liquid Mousse in Sand Beige med.1, Baby Lips in Cherry Me, a Dove softening body wash, and lastly the new Vaseline lip therapy. My total was $16+change but I then redeemed my coupons leaving me w/ a total of $13+change. I am now home...it's late evening but I can't help myself. I ripped open the package holding the Baby Lips and OMG (sigh) I love the smell and the hint of color it gives...so wearing this tomorrow w/ a simple face. Once I use the other products I will give an appropriate review of my honest opinion. After purchasing an item I will only give a review after 2-4 weeks of use unless the item states a longer period before seeing results. :) Happy sales people!
