Big Lots is no joke

So we were out of bottled water so I offered to go buy a pack.... hehehe. I haven't been to my local Big Lots in a while so I was like hmm I will go there and wander the aisles. Well I am so glad that I did. Now one way or another in a lifetime you will hear about a place called Ulta. I let it be known now....am not a FAN of Ulta. Why? Because I'm a Sephora wh*re....no I kid...somewhat. Lol (sigh) the inner jerk made it's way out people gees chill out. Anyways I believe if I can find the brand or item at my local CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, or even Big Lots then I shouldn't be paying the same price for the item at Ulta. The Ulta here is far from me it's in another city/county. Friends of mine's took me there thinking I'd be hooked because I am such a make up lover....wrong wrong wrong. I do love make up but at a decent price. I am such a coupon diva if you went shopping with me you might blush at the scenes that unfold. Well back to my original rant. Big Lots was like striking black gold aka oil for me today. I got the 24pk water I was seeking but I also found after much rummaging through a few dirty due to busted make up containers holding loose make up products some Revlon Matte lipsticks!!! I just checked Ulta (boooooo) and the colors I bought today are available on Ulta's site too but for $6.99 a tube... I had a wtf are u fffing kidding me moment. Well guess what? I got 2 tubes for $4 yes $2 each tube. Let me tell u these colors are fabulous. I got 001 Nude Attitude & 005 Strawberry Suede!! Love these names, I'm such a sucker for witty named products (btw OPI delivers that every time go read the names of their polishes). I'm ecstatic I got these matte colors for such a bargain...eeeek. Well I bugged the guy who has been in my life for a while but rankings fall short because he was demoted from being ______ now to guy in my life due to not completing tasks I ask of. But as soon as he unpacks my junk I will take pics of looks I do and upload more videos to Youtube :). Also I bought a pack of Epielle Green Tea Cleansing Tissues but am afraid to use them got these suckers for $1 a pack of 30 tissues. Well since I do have a new cleanser I might take my chances so YOU know if u can trust this or not. Happy deals ck out ur local bargain stores and share sales if you know of some!

Dreaded trip to Walgreens #3951

Dramatic much? Why yes I am. So 8:30pm I decided to make a run to my local Walgreens.... wish I didn't have to but I did. I'm a CVS girl is what it seems but this Walgreens is literally a block away so I was like eh save gas why not. NOTE for next time I'd rather waste the gas to a Walmart or CVS even if they're 10-15 mins away. Ok about Walgreens (#3951) this particular one really hires ANYONE. This night cashier there, ugh, he is the definition of the cashier from a bad place.... one he is sitting on a stool or in a chair the handful of times I have to go there, two he has NO customer service skill. He will ring stuff up and if u ask about the signage he tells u "the item was placed in the wrong spot." or "it's for a particular flavor/color only." I am always baffled seeing him and dreading to be in the line for his register the only register open besides beauty. Well I went to this store this time cause I needed some female ish... besides that though the signs of FINAL SALE or Buy one get one free or marked down tags all had me pondering over other items. I stumbled upon a new face foam by AcneFree the sensitive cleanser was on sale for $4.29 it was $8.49, SCORE! Then I kept browsing the shelves I come upon the natural products, LOVE 'em, I browse through J/A/S/O/N no sale, Burt's Bees no sale then I see Say Yes to Carrots Lip Butters had a mark down but only for the Carrot flavored one $1.59. I tried to find the sale flavor it was gone so I was like eh why not try it so I grabbed two I got Pomergranate and Mint each stick of lip butter was $3.29 each. I left this Walgreens after Mr Grumpy-seat's line spending a little less than $20. Well I get home in a minute.  First things first I tried the lip butter :) eeeeeeek I love it. I have been dying to try lip creams and lip butters ever since StylSuzi on Youtube mentioned lip puffs she had tried from Boots!! Well this lip butter is not tacky, sticky, or oily. It's creamy almost really like butter!! The pomergranate is white I think the flavor was for smell name sake. I did have a patch of dry skin on my lip but this lip butter took care of that. I can say right now after owning this for 2 hours literally I say go get some!! The cleanser I will use after I am done w/ my Garnier cleanser, I have another 3 days 6 washes use I'd guess. I had to blog this cause ughhh I was happy w/ my finds but sooooo not happy w/ the cashier I dread seeing him when I walk in there... Walgreens is the last resort for me because of this name-hiding-chair-sitting-in-attitude-rich cashier.

NYC long wearing nail enamel in 105-Starry Silver Glitter has the cutest round glitters in silver glitter ever. silver speckles w/ pink and blue round glitters what is not to love?? This enamel was soooo affordable and was  skeptical on spending $$$ on a product that would chip easily/fast. I've used this a few times and I must say I love the wear on this .....(sigh) cutest glitter polish I own definitely and I do recommend this. Posting pics later on what designs I came up w/ mostly Katy Perry inspired but awesome designs none the less. :)

Baby Lips Cherry Me has me for sure!! Wish I would've gotten another one. So I've noticed not all CVS(s) advertise sales the same. I am a bit disappointed w/ store 2873. I see the 50-75% off ad tags around but NO stickered items to advise what was on sale. NOT one. I left there w/ out a new cosmetic item which I am a bit peeved over. The other CVS near advertise and actually have more in stock of what is on sale. I can actually tell what is on sale because I SEE the dang stickers on the items. (sigh) enough of me whining over one dang CVS lol. I am going to try Vaseline's lip therapy...the package is a mini container that looks like the big jars of Vaseline. I am such a sucker for packaging! I've been debating on ordering make-up to try from China, Korea. and even Japan. Ebay has me fighting myself right now. UGH. Well I will see what looks neat and post pics shortly.. :) ttyl <3

Been slacking but I AM BACK

Long time no update I know :/ ehhh life has been well blah... had to sort some stuff out set my priorities straight now I am officially back. So I was looking through my bag and found some Maybelline coupons and remembered CVS sent me a 20% off coupon. So I sent the coupon from my email to my card and set off for the nearest CVS. After singing w/ Adele (Set Fire to The Rain) and Rhi-rhi I made it to my local CVS, an 8 mins drive. Well I walk in and find the coupon scanning kiosk and now armed w/ more coupons I circle the 3 aisles of make up and finally decided on my purchase. Revlon, Rimmel, Physician's, and L'Oreal made my choices hard but I stuck to my coupons. I left with Maybelline's Dream Liquid Mousse in Sand Beige med.1, Baby Lips in Cherry Me, a Dove softening body wash, and lastly the new Vaseline lip therapy. My total was $16+change but I then redeemed my coupons leaving me w/ a total of $13+change. I am now home...it's late evening but I can't help myself. I ripped open the package holding the Baby Lips and OMG (sigh) I love the smell and the hint of color it gives...so wearing this tomorrow w/ a simple face. Once I use the other products I will give an appropriate review of my honest opinion. After purchasing an item I will only give a review after 2-4 weeks of use unless the item states a longer period before seeing results. :) Happy sales people!

Hello Kitty eye shadow singles

I went to Hot Topic to browse w/ my sister when I came upon a sales section in the back of the store. I can't resist sales...ask people they will confirm. So I circled this stand like a chicken hawk would a hen house (I suppose it looked that way) and after the 3rd lap I saw something pink & white w/ a shadow brush... being so nosy I moved all the Alice in Wonderland accessories out of the way and pulled out a pack of eyeshadow!! On a hanging packet was a shadow brush w/ 4 single eyeshadows everything I named had Hello Kitty's face on the items...cute even though I'm not a fan. I hesitated on purchasing it because of Hello Kitty but then I flipped the pack over and saw the red markings...(sales are the death of me).. original price was $14.99 the red slash thru then had $1.98 scrawled next to it...SOLD.

So I bought it and pondered for months (yes months) hmm how should I do this look...well today was my breaking point at 87 degrees out and babe gone to an Anime Convention I say "eh why not."! I always advise people if u don't have UDPP (primer) u need to get it!! After setting up my face and applying the primer I started with the purple, accented with the pink, created depth with the teal, and lined my eyes with the blue. This look is fun and easy hope you like it. I wanted to do a tutorial but the lighting has been so bad and I really want a new camera before I post any more videos but I will show u pics of the look :)

Face rituals :)

I am so not a fan of skin during weather transitions. My skin gets so splotchy in between seasons it's gross. I'm naturally tan as is (thanks dad) so when summer comes I'm extra tan then fall veers around and my coloring.. "lightens" so it's splotchy from head to toe. Well after a while of going thru these weird skin changes in between seasons I was plotting, planning, and experimenting. Well after A LOT of research and several products later (3 yrs to be exact of trial & error) I have found my go to cure for uneven coloring issues. I found 1 line that I run to for exfoliating needs... St. Ives. I've seen this brand in our home for many years and always wondered why the adults in my life had this stuff around well well well I found out on my own!! When I was getting bad breakouts for a long period of time in my life my main focus was to get rid of the existing breakouts and preventing new ones. I did not worry about the scarring and dry skin that existed on my face...silly girl I know. Well after I got my breakouts under control (thanks Clean & Clear) I then realized "OMG" I look part leopard. Well I was in a panic looking for anything to use that was in the bathroom at home to help my face some what before I go out looking silly (after I was doing so for soooo LONG), well I found a tube of St. Ives medicated apricot scrub. I hesitated for a sec... then I wet my face and slathered some product on and started from my chin going upward in circular motions. After the 1st time I was hooked w/ the results!! My face was soooo smooth and instantly it took away a lot of dark spots I had on my face. Well w/ this new to me miracle product I "polished" my face at least 3x a week with this stuff and afterwards I would swipe on my Olay refreshing toner for all skin types. I only use the toner after I exfoliate because it helps control my T-zone which gets oily fast especially after exfoliating because my pores are opened and clean. After this birthday though I realized I need new face products for aging skin (I'm not old but hey we all age). Well I went on a mission to find a new product for my skin (good by mid-20s) at my local Walmart Super Center. After reading like 12 products from several brands (Olay, Ponds, Neutrogena, Loreal just to name a few) I chose a brand i left last on the shelf that I decided to read labels on... St. Ives :). I will post the pic after I advise why I chose this product. This is made from 100% natural extracts, non-comedogenic, has alpha hydroxy (prevents & reduce skin damage),no parabens & phthalates. The price tag is also impressive this tube of awesomeness is only $3.79 and you can always find it in Walmart, Walgreens, CVS or any grocery stores. After using my St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub for a few months now I can tell you I do feel a difference and now that I found this product IDK if I can give it up. Get it and try it for yourself, don't go spending money on facials and micro-derm peels and stuff till you've tried the products from your go to place. To me facials, micro-derm abr., and chemical peels are extreme measures to me that should be your last resort because to me they do more harm than good...read on it if u don't believe me. Well enough rambling here is the pic :)

ramble rrwar ramble

So uploading my 2nd video to Youtube today.. :/ well we'll see how this goes. This weekend has been crazy..the weather spiking to low 90s high 80s does not help matters. My day job has drained my patience, I'm actually looking forward to my departure. Just so crazy how life gets I am nervous as hell but excited. Well we picked our shop's name :) it's pretty cool just hope people don't think we sell pizza lol. My sister isn't confident in herself and i wish I could change that. Even w/ schooling we have to have the confidence to succeed but we'll see :). I am hoping to start our training tomorrow but I am not sure. Sis's boss might be a bit peeved since we signed up for schooling out of no where. But opportunities come and go and we grasped this chance so we have to make adjustments as necessary I hope she understands. I'm ready for crazy techniques already. I can paint on designs like nothing and it's awesome. So ready for the real stuff building different forms and crazy stuff for clients.

Crafting jobs...

Yes, they do exist and I have taken up an offer. (sigh) It's an ok thing but man I wish they would give me stuff that works, if u want your products a certain way so should the equipment u give for me to do the job for you. I have gone to Big Lots to buy a green FINE point Sharpie because the one given to use with the job is DEAD x_x.... how IDK same thing I am wondering about. Then I was given two Identi_Pens for some more detailing and guess what? They worked for literally 2 seconds now both are x_x... I now have to run to the store to buy some to keep so when I have detailed pieces I am ready... ugh so aggravated.

CVS Haul 6/1/11

So I've been watching DulceCandy87 for a while now on YOUTUBE. Well she has done so many CVS Hauls that have impressed me that I've been debating for a long while now if I should do one or not. Well after work on Weds 6/1/11 around 5pm I woke up after a nap jumped out of bed and made a Beauty Run. I got to CVS on 54th ave n, not near my home but it was the one I wanted to hit up. I walked in and didn't expect to see 75% stickers all over beauty stuff. Once I realized what the stickers meant (75% off items with the stickers on them) I quickly looked for a basket then said forget the basket I have two arms... 40 mins later I left with a Revlon Mineral Face powder, Revlon Fabulash mascara, Rimmel LashMAXXX mascara, two Rimmel Lasting Finish nail polishes, three Sally Hansen HD nail polishes, a Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure, and a Confetti Long Wear nail polish. I spent only a total of $20.71!! The face powder alone was suppose to be $13.99....(sigh) I can't resist a sale or coupons! My receipt says I saved $52.15, I don't know about anyone else but I have three handbags on my have to have list so that savings is going towards a bag on my list. I will post pics later of the items and my receipt but if you have a CVS nearby stop by and check it out from time to time the savings are crazy cool and plus I heard you can save your CVS bucks to buy GIFTCARDS that they sell there (Visa, Amex, ect.). Happy sales finding, good luck and don't be afraid to let me know of sales that you think are worth while! :)
