EDC plans announced.... It's a GO

Wow I'm thrilled! I just announced my choice on attending EDC this year on the Book and so many awesome people showed love. I'm more at ease now knowing there are other light dance lovers. My costume preparations along with the other chicks will be revealed here soon. You will get the whole prepping till EDC for sure. Any questions just ask. Any pictures I post are not to show off it's an event we are prepping for and just showing you all the hard work that goes into a costume. Illamasqua is definitely a line I will be using in my make up looks.

EDC 2013

Have you heard about EDC?? It's the Electric Daisy Carnival!! Just music and awesomeness. My husband had been involved with anime conventions in Florida Anna yeah they have three day raves but seriously I love the huge "main stream" raves! The music, atmosphere, and good company I love it all, oh I also get to wear costumes (yes I ask one of those who wishes Halloween was often). This year EDC I'm going with fur! I will be sharing my progress on the building and assembling of my attire here. Your Welcome...lol I kid but I wool be sharing my progress till EDC here for sure. Links of where I got what from where will be available, I have no secrets. I wish to build something from Toki Doki or the Unicorno series one day, but baby steps to awesome eh? :)

Your momma's polish-remover-in-a-tub revamped!

You may have seen these jars of removers growing up and even hated them. Well I have now grown to love these! For personal use and convenience these tubs have become "life savers". I no longer have to mess with cotton balls or damage miscellaneous surfaces because of where I place my acetone drenched cotton balls. I got this remover tub from CVS for under $4. The inner is now filled with plastic/rubber for finger insertion instead of the sponge thingy like back in the 80s (when I first saw one). This does dry my hands/fingers but it gets the job done quick and easy. I change my polish daily so this really helps me out. I didn't see other selections on remover liquids (acetone free and so on) so I bought the 100% acetone one. It claims to remove glitter with ease....we shall see. I will be keeping this tub for a while (till it gets gross) you can dump out the old liquid and fill it with new remover. Which I will do! :) yay for more polish changes with ease!! This is especially good for swatching days.

OPI the Bond Girls liquid sand

Swatched! Today I was able to swatch these awesome liquid sands and man so worth the $$. My thumb to pinky is Jinx, Tiffany case, honey Ryder, pussy galore, and solitaire. The application was easy fast drying and I only did two coats.

Be a bombshell is adorable. I really like this pin-up focused line... reminds me of The Balm. I got this gloss in my IPSY, I forget what month, and so far I like it. I cant say love. It is brighter in the tube but goes all almost jelly like but a darker tint not bright at all. Its consistency is thick and semi-sticky. Two kiss offs (on napkin and thick paper) and the color is faint. There is no taste nor smell. The Bare Minerals Moxie in Dare Devil is glossy too. It has what looks like shimmers but none appears but a nice shine. I love Moxies. This brand makes your lips tingly, I love that, the color is mauvish and really compliments tan complexions. The mauve tint stays a while and its not thick or sticky when applied. I am a repeat buyer of Moxies this color just adds to my gloss collection!

Sation Nail Lacquer for IPSY

This polish is definitely on the sheer side. My index finger has 3 coats, middle has 2 coats, and last two fingers have a coat each. It dries with a glossy finish but first coat is almost jelly-like. I have to say though I love the formula. It dries even and there are no bubbles! You could use this pink with French manicures using one to two coats. All in all good product, I would buy this. The three coats though can almost say it's almost Nicki Minaj worthy.

My Little Pony Polish from Hot Topic

This set was released at Hot Topic in late 2012. One bottle retailed for $7.50 each. I was lucky enough to get all 4 bottles. These colors are opaque after two coats and dry to a semi gloss finish. The "white" is iridescent, I will swatch with undies next time. All in all I'm happy with the polishes in quality, and quantity.

Polish Haul (My Little Pony & Illamasqua)

Today was awesome! I grabbed two Illamasqua polishes, Scorch & Vice, I want Muse next! Stopped by Hot Topic and ran to the My Little Pony section... it was buy one get one half off so I bought the 4 polishes they released. I've used Illamasqua before but cant wait to try this white/Scorch. Vice is a wine vampy color, I love it. The MLP set has an iridescent white/shimmer, purple, bright blue, and bringt pink. The MLP set did not indicate names though. I want to swatch them all!!

Rosary nailart

I've been dying to wear this manicure. Black and white are classics, bold and eye catching. I laid snow me white as my base/main color then painted my rosary on with black on black. I used Sinful colors polishes this entire look. The brush I used came in a set I bought from Michael's. I love this simple yet interesting look. My rosary was cool but I was off and didn't eyeball the space for my cross accurately, all my art is free-hand.

IPSY bag March 2013

My March bag actually came with some nifty stuff. I love love love the Glam RX mini shadow palette. So excited to use it I already stuck my Yaby shadows in So Vein and Sandy Dunes in there! The Juice Beauty face mist was the only thing I used today after I tore open the packaging. Its pretty cool and so travel friendly. The scent is not too flowery or herbal strong. It did refresh my face in this 80 degrees day. I'm super oily so I had to reapply in 4-5 hrs. This entire bag this month has made up for last month. I will be using all the products in my March bag because these are everyday items minus the Glam RX mini palette thats just a bonus to me! Eeek so happy and I just adore the nautical print bag they packed all my goodies in. Good job IPSY.

Spoiled by Wet n' Wild in Show Me Some Skin

Spoiled polishes come in many fun colors. This line was made in 2012 by Wet n' Wild. I own a few bottles by this line. My recent color is Show Me Some Skin. This is a creme base polish. I like how Spoiled polishes come with thick brushes. This color needs 3 coats for a good coverage. I had issues with the neons from this line but the cremes I have had better application with. One hand 3 coats took me seven minutes to dry with a fan. This color is a pinkish-tan lol omgoodness I wad actually going to say peachy but it more pink. But either way I love it.

OPI Euro Collection (2pcs)

The Euro Collection is awesomely opaque, I love that, and colors are trendy buy not too bold. This trip I picked up My Vampire Is Buff & I Saw.. U Saw.. We Saw.. Marsaw. Like most OPI formulas these polishes lay even, coverage is excellent two coats, and entire manicure dries in ten mins. My ring finger was accented with little dots ( I used a new GUM floss/pick end) in Sinful Colors' Super Star. I never use a top coat if I do I will advise which one I used for each look/swatch.

Revlon Super Lustrous in Blackberry

Burgundy is definitely my go-to color for cold weather. It just makes you look elegant in an instant. I've searched around a lot for lippies and I can now say I own enough red lippies for use daily for up to two years! I love them though so they will not go to waste. Well Burgundian lips and dark plum lips were my intentions but they sell out so quickly. I found the most awesome dark plum I will share later its by Sephora. But this Burgundy lippy by Revlon in blackberry is THE ONE at the moment. It's a creme lipstick and no gloss gives you a semi-matte look. I will present a complete look another day because at this time I'm due for a dinner reservation in thirty mins!! Hehe
